The Italian SDD Multiplier Event has taken place on 12 July 2023 in Poggio Mirteto, in the countryside North of Rome, within one of Lunaria’s anti-racism international exchanges. 

The 28 participants have included youth leaders from anti-racist organisations from Brazil, France, Italy, Slovakia, and Spain. 

The topics addressed have been:  

A. The presentation of the SDD project and the project outcomes, with a focus on the SDD game, training materials and policy recommendations.  

B. The EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.  

C. The theory and practice to create inclusive environments for all generations, with the sharing of discriminatory situations experiences lived by participants and how they coped with them.  

D. The anti-discrimination priorities for anti-racist youth NGOs and the obstacles faced.  

E. How the SDD tools may be used in the participants’ daily involvement. 

Great interest has been manifested towards the SDD project results, with the expressed intention to incorporate the SDD educational materials and the project’s training offer within the represented organisations’ future initiatives and networking.
